Show Rules 2020

  1. Entry forms (download here) for all classes (with entry fees) must be returned by Tuesday 1st September 2020 to 9 The Village, West Hallam, Ilkeston DE7 6GR
  2. Entry fee for all classes: 50p per exhibit
  3. All exhibits must be submitted and staged between 5 & 7pm on Friday 4th September 2020, with the exception of bakery classes 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 & 17 which should be submitted between 8 & 9am on Show Day
  4. All entries must be the work of the exhibitor
  5. Children’s classes 25 - 26: some parental guidance is accepted, but judging will be based on the child’s work; the child’s age must appear on the entry form
  6. All craft, art and photography exhibits must have been completed within the last three years
  7. No responsibility will be accepted for loss or damage to exhibitors’ property
  8. The judge’s decision is final
  9. There is no limit to the number of entries an exhibitor can submit in any one class, but no exhibitor shall receive more than one prize in any one class
  10. Prizes will be awarded as follows:
    • First prize: £1
    • Second prize: 75p
    • Third prize: 50p
  11. All exhibits must remain in the Show until 4.30pm on Show Day
  12. All exhibits must be collected from the Hall on Show Day, not before 4.30pm and not later than 5.30pm.
