Show Rules 2018

  1. Entry forms for all classes (with entry fees) must be returned by Saturday 25th August 2018 to 9 The Village, West Hallam, Ilkeston DE7 6GR
  2. Entry fee: 50p per exhibit
  3. All exhibits must be submitted and staged between 5 & 7pm on Friday 31st August 2018, with the exception of bakery classes 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12, which can be submitted between 8 & 9am on Show Day
  4. All entries must be the work of the exhibitor
  5. Children’s classes: some parental guidance is accepted, but judging will be based on the child’s work; the child’s age must appear on the entry form
  6. All craft, art and photography exhibits must have been completed within the last three years
  7. No responsibility will be accepted for loss or damage to the property of exhibitors
  8. The judge’s decision is final
  9. There is no limit to the number of entries an exhibitor can submit in any one class, but no exhibitor shall receive more than one prize in any one class
  10. Prizes will be awarded as follows:
    • First prize: £1
    • Second prize: 75p
    • Third prize: 50p
  11. All exhibits must remain in the Show until 4.30pm on Show Day
  12. All exhibits must be collected from the Hall on Show Day, not before 4.30pm and not later than 5.30pm. Separate arrangements will be made for those wishing to sell off their exhibits
